The City of Nampa in Idaho provided an update on the chip seal project on July 29. The Park Ridge 1, 2 & 3 subdivisions and Whispering Maples subdivision have been completed. Kings Rd Estates are three-quarters finished. Crews will resume chip sealing the Kings Rd subdivision tomorrow, weather permitting. 'No parking' signs are up, and sweeping work is ongoing.

Residents in the Kings Road subdivision are reminded to adjust their irrigation times to water between 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. to prevent moisture on the road. Parking on streets during chip sealing between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. is not allowed. Once signage is removed, street parking can resume. The city will try to notify owners of vehicles parked in the right-of-way before towing. Residents are also asked to ensure trees and shrubs on the curbside are pruned.
