**Nampa Shares & Cares Program Provides Utility Billing Assistance to Residents**

The City of Nampa, Idaho, in collaboration with The Salvation Army Nampa, has introduced the *Nampa Shares & Cares* program to support local residents with utility billing assistance. This initiative aims to assist qualifying households with their City of Nampa utility bills by providing financial credits to eligible applicants.

To apply for assistance through the program, residents must first pre-qualify online at [nampa.salvationarmy.org](nampa.salvationarmy.org). Afterward, applicants are required to visit The Salvation Army Nampa in person to complete the application process. Once approved, customers receive a credit directly applied to their utility bills.

Residents who wish to help their neighbors can contribute to the program by adding a tax-deductible donation to their bimonthly utility bill or by making a one-time donation. All contributions remain local and go directly to supporting Nampa community members in need.

For more information or questions, residents can contact The Salvation Army Nampa or reach out to the City of Nampa's Utility Billing Office at (208) 468-5711.

This program exemplifies a community-focused effort to support Nampa families, ensuring that residents have the resources they need to manage their essential utilities.
