Cold Front Arrives: Cooler Temps, Showers Across Idaho

In Baker City, high temperatures are forecast to drop from 57°F on Friday and Saturday to 51°F on Sunday and 46°F on Monday, then falling to 43°F on Tuesday. At Banner Summit, readings are expected to remain at 42°F on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a decrease to 31°F on Monday and 30°F on Tuesday.
Boise is predicted to experience a high of 54°F on Friday, a slight rise to 56°F on Saturday, peaking at 58°F on Sunday before dropping to 40°F on Monday and rising again to 47°F on Tuesday. Bogus Basin’s temperatures will shift from 48°F on Friday and 45°F on Saturday to 38°F on Sunday, 37°F on Monday, then to 35°F on Tuesday and 30°F on Wednesday.
Brundage Mountain is expected to see highs of 43°F on Friday, 41°F on Saturday, and 38°F on Sunday, with a further drop to 30°F on Monday and Tuesday. Burns will experience highs of 55°F on Friday, 57°F on Saturday and Sunday, before falling to 46°F on Monday and 44°F on Tuesday.
Caldwell is forecast to have highs of 53°F on Friday and 57°F on Saturday, while Fairfield is expected to reach 56°F on Friday and 52°F on both Saturday and Sunday. Idaho City is expected to have a high of 58°F on Friday, 57°F on Saturday, 56°F on Sunday, and 45°F on Monday.
Residents across these areas should be prepared for the changing conditions, including cooler temperatures and an increased chance of showers, with snow possible in higher elevations during the early part of the week.
