The National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, issued forecasts for this weekend through midweek. Forecasters say today will be mostly dry and clear. Light snowfall and rain are expected mainly over mountain areas Saturday through Sunday. A stronger system is expected next week, bringing an active pattern with increasing chances of snowfall for all areas by Wednesday or Thursday.
