Nampa Fire District Introduces AED Loaner Program

**Nampa Fire District Launches AED Loaner Program**

The Nampa Fire District has announced the launch of the first-ever "AED Loaner" program in Nampa, Idaho. This innovative program allows CPR-certified individuals in the community to borrow Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for events at a low cost, further supporting life-saving efforts in the area.

Thanks to a generous donation from Sparklight Internet, the program was able to purchase its initial three AED devices. Additional contributions from the community enabled the acquisition of more AEDs. These devices will not only be used in the loaner program but also placed in all Nampa Fire Command staff vehicles and Nampa Police Department vehicles, expanding access across the city.

The Nampa Fire District acknowledges the significance of community support in launching and sustaining this program. Citizens are encouraged to borrow AED devices or donate to the initiative. To learn more, visit their website at **nampafire.org** or scan the QR code provided on promotional flyers.

This program is another step in promoting public safety and preparedness, reflecting the department's values of "Excellence, Service, Strength in Unity."
