**Nampa Parks & Recreation Offers Judo Classes at Harward Rec Center**

Nampa Parks & Recreation invites individuals ages 10 and up to participate in their Judo classes held at the Harward Recreation Center in Nampa, Idaho. The classes are scheduled every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 PM and Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 10 AM.

Judo, a Japanese martial art, focuses on using momentum and off-balancing techniques to throw, trip, or sweep opponents to the ground. Once on the mat, participants learn techniques to control and immobilize their rivals to secure a win. The program emphasizes safety, sportsmanship, self-discipline, cooperation, and fun.

The monthly cost for members is $35, while non-members can join for $40 per month.
