**Nampa Schools Compete in 5A SIC District Basketball Tournament**

The 5A SIC District Basketball Tournament is underway, and last night’s games brought significant outcomes for the Nampa School District teams.

In the first game of the evening, #4 Vallivue defeated #8 Nampa with a final score of **77–54**. As a result, Nampa High School’s season has come to an end.

In another matchup, #1 Middleton faced off against #5 Columbia, securing a victory with a final score of **62–50**. Columbia High School will now move to the consolation bracket and play against the winner of the Caldwell/Emmett game in their next matchup. That game will take place Wednesday night at Skyview High School.

Meanwhile, in the marquee game of the night, #3 Skyview triumphed over #2 Bishop Kelly (BK) with a final score of **77–64**. With this victory, Skyview High School advances to the **5A SIC District Championship**, where they will face Middleton. The title game is scheduled for Friday night at ICCU Arena in Boise.

The Nampa School District teams gave their best efforts, with Skyview now carrying the district's hopes into the championship game. Fans can look forward to more exciting basketball action later this week.
