Nampa Tree Trimming Ensures Power Line Safety
Workers have been seen trimming trees in Nampa, Idaho, to keep them from contacting power lines. According to the City of Nampa and Idaho Power, the work is performed by qualified line‐clearing contractors. The project is expected to continue through the summer and possibly into the fall. Residents are advised not to attempt pruning near power lines themselves. Instead, if any trees near power lines need to be pruned or removed, or if a tree is interfering with power lines, people should contact Idaho Power at 208-388-2323 for assistance.
